Because it is my desire that every woman of God fully embrace the strength, wisdom and beauty God Himself fashioned in her through an intimate relationship with Him, I strive to inspire, challenge, and encourage women of God to develop their physical and spiritual hearts by integrating complementary appropriate disciplines for each through physical fitness and spiritual development.

God placed in my heart many years ago a passion to encourage and challenge women in their individual spiritual walk.  He led me to host very small groups of women who would meet weekly to memorize Scripture, read through God's Word together and to exhort one another to live according to God's perfect will unique to each woman.

Program Heartbeat:

Keep the training personal.

When I studied to become an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, it was my intention and goal to take the title itself "Personal Trainer" very literally and seriously.  I myself have been a client myself of several coaches and fitness programs that are large and of cookie-cutter nature.  Though there can be success, the process is usually quite impersonal.  On the other hand, Paul instructed Titus this regarding women's roles in training other women:   Older women...teaching what is good, so that they may train the young women...so that the word of God will not be dishonored. Titus 2:3-5 NASB

Program Heartbeat:

Train women in intertwined disciplines that impact their physical and spiritual walks.

It is my experience that my physical disciplined life compliments, strengthens and deepens my spiritual life; and the disciplines in my spiritual life give meaning to my physical disciplines.  Again we hear Paul, this time speaking to Timothy:

But have nothing to do with worldly fables fit only for old women. On the other hand, discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness; for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. 1Timothy 4:7-8

Program Heartbeat:

Glorify God by being the women He created us to be, physically and spiritually.

We are women of God, designed and hand-crafted uniquely by God for the purpose of bringing Him glory in the body and role He crafted.

The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. Genesis 2:22

Program Heartbeat:

Invest time to serve and train women who have desire and passion

to invest in the necessary tools (not in a person)

so that they may live more disciplined lives.

In recent years, God has allowed me the time and means by which I was able to go back to school and earn my degree.  As well, He has so generously allowed me opportunity and means to workout with coaches and personal trainers who have taught me valuable lessons.  However, my life has not always afforded such opportunity.  I understand, appreciate and sympathize with having a drive and desire to learn, improve and succeed all while lacking all of the necessary means.

For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example, because we did not act in an undisciplined manner among you, nor did we eat anyone's bread without paying for it, but with labor and hardship we kept working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you; not because we do not have the right to this, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you, so that you would follow our example.     2Thessalonians 3:7-9
